Psalms 118:8 (TLB) It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in men.
Psalms 118:9 (TLB) It is better to take refuge in him than in the mightiest king!
Last night I saw this scripture passage. We hear all these things in the news and people of faith wonder what will the future hold. This passage of scripture tells us. Don’t put your trust in men. Don’t put your hope in what they will do or not do. Put your confidence in God. This is His world and this is HIS country. Pray for His WILL to be done right here just as it is in heaven. Is there unrest, worry, wickedness, dishonesty, etc in heaven? NO !! Father God will not forsake His people. This isn’t the first time His people have faced insurmountable trials.
Look in the Bible and you will see one example after another of His delivering Hand at work. The Red Sea, the Walls of Jericho, Sodom, the Ark of Noah’s day, Gideon and his army of 300 men, Joshua and the day the sun stood still, David and Goliath, and I could go on listing them. But you get the idea. Father God says of Himself, “Is there ANYTHING too difficult for Me?”
Psalms 118:14 (TLB) He is my strength and song in the heat of battle, and now he has given me the victory.
Get your confidence in the right place, and don’t look to puny men to be your help. They can’t help, but Father God CAN and WILL. Can I get an Amen?!!
